The customized package below shows a compressor assembly used to compress the boil-off gas from a source of liquid hydrogen. This package includes a Hurricane Series, WP4351 BasSeal Hydrogen, 24/7 continuous duty booster with oil filtration to provide ISO 8573:2010, class 2 rated process gas. The compressor packaged inside a weather-resistant enclosure includes accessories such as a Hydrogen gas detector with alarm at 1% level of contaminate, oil sump heater (Class 1, Div 2, Group B), stage temperature monitoring, stainless steel piping, and an inlet temperature switch set to 10°F to protect the compressor materials. The controller for this package was supplied loose to meet the customer’s needs.
